You can now see who created a Mentor Card and when it was created — directly on the card itself. This makes it easy to track which manager or QA expert authored a piece of coaching feedback and when it was shared with the agent.
💡 Good to know: The Created by and Created at fields are visible to everyone who can view the Mentor Card — including the assigned agent, the mentor, and any team leads or admins with access.
✨ What's new
Every Mentor Card now displays two new pieces of information:
| Field | What it shows | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Created by | The name of the person who created the Mentor Card | Maaz Ahmed |
| Created at | The date and time the card was created | Jul 14, 2026 at 10:59 AM |
📍 Where to find it
The Created by and Created at information is visible in the following places:
On the Mentor Card detail view
- Navigate to Coaching → Mentor Cards
- Click on any Mentor Card to open it
- The Created by name and Created at timestamp are displayed at the top of the card
On the agent's Mentor Cards list
- Navigate to Coaching → Mentor Cards
- Select an agent from the list or filter by team
- Each card in the list now shows the Created by field, so you can quickly see which mentor authored each piece of feedback
👥 Who can see it
The Created by and Created at fields follow the same visibility rules as the Mentor Card itself:
| Role | Can see Created by / Created at? |
|---|---|
| Account Owner / Admin | ✅ Yes — on all Mentor Cards |
| QA Expert / Mentor | ✅ Yes — on cards they created or have access to |
| Team Lead | ✅ Yes — on cards for agents in their team |
| Agent | ✅ Yes — on their own Mentor Cards |
✅ Tip: This is especially helpful when multiple QA experts or team leads are creating Mentor Cards for the same agent. You can now instantly tell who gave which feedback — no more guessing!
💡 When is this useful?
Here are a few scenarios where the Created by and Created at fields come in handy:
| Scenario | How it helps |
|---|---|
| Multiple coaches, one agent | Instantly see which coach authored each card — great for accountability and follow-up |
| Tracking coaching cadence | The timestamp shows how frequently an agent is receiving coaching — are they getting weekly feedback or monthly? |
| QBRs and reporting | When reviewing coaching activity in business reviews, you can confirm which managers were actively coaching during the period |
| Agent context | Agents can see who wrote their feedback and when, making it easier to follow up or ask clarifying questions |
❓ Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I filter or sort Mentor Cards by who created them?
A: Not yet — the Created by field is currently display-only. Filtering and sorting by creator may be added in a future update.
Q: Does this apply to Mentor Cards created before this update?
A: Yes! The Created by and Created at information was always stored — it's now simply visible on the card. All existing Mentor Cards will show this information.
Q: What if the person who created the card has been deactivated?
A: The card will still show their name as the creator. Deactivated users appear with their last known display name.
Q: Is the Created at timestamp in my local timezone?
A: Yes — the timestamp is displayed in your browser's local timezone, just like other dates and times throughout Kaizo.
Happy Kaizo-ing! 🚀
